  • Last night (4/17/24), we tried Molé in Kendall Yards and it was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is open, you can see into the kitchen and watch them preparing the meals. It is kind of loud inside, but it’s clean. The place isn’t large, but they have done their best to fit as many tables as they possibly could in the dining room. The location is at the West-end of Kendall Yards. There is on-street parking, but it gets really busy down there so finding parking can be difficult. After being seated, we were brought some fresh made tortilla chips with a mild, yet scrumptious salsa. We also ordered beverages. I went with the Molé Paloma and Jenna had a Diet Coke. Their drinks were reasonably priced, my Paloma was heavy on the Grapefruit flavor and light on the Tequila. As for our meals, my friend Jenna has been making Fajita Salads for a long time, and when I saw they had it on their menu, it was an easy decision to make Molé our dining destination last night. She did opt for the Fajita Taco Salad with shrimp but didn’t get the tortilla chips. The menu didn’t say anything about rice for the “salad,” but there was rice at the bottom of her bowl and their rice was phenomenal. I was all over the place trying to decide what to get. I finally settled on their Seafood Cancún. It was served in a sizzling cast iron vessel and filled with plenty of shrimp, scallops, and another couple fish pieces not mentioned in the description. It was loaded with mushrooms, onions, and yellow summer squash. The flavor was fantastic and a dish I have not had before. I did substitute a side salad for the rice and beans, but didn’t ask for a salad dressing, which turned out fine since I had to bring the whole salad home with me. There was so much food in the Seafood Cancun dish, that I couldn’t even finish it. There was definitely enough for two people to enjoy. One thing that we both agreed on, their guacamole was the best we have ever had in Spokane. The last time we had guacamole as good as theirs was when we got table side guacamole made for us in Las Vegas. To be fair, we haven’t really been searching out guacamole and haven’t had many Mexican or Spanish restaurants on our list. Going forward, we will be paying more attention to the guacamole we are served. Their online menu contains a dish called “Mucha Carne” and it’s said to feed 3-5 people for $145 (a plate of chorizo, pollo enchilado, carne asada, carne al pastor, and sauteed Mexican prawns. Served with rice, beans, and homemade fresh salsas). That is what my significant other wants to try (with friends, of course) when we go again. I did not see this dish on the menu in the restaurant, so I do not know if it has been discontinued. If you’re looking for a delicious more upscale Mexican restaurant, I would definitely suggest trying out Mole in Kendall yards. You’ll want to make a reservation, because it gets busy (even at 6 PM on a Wednesday night).

Mole is a gem in this community. So much love has gone into creating this beautiful space in the Kindle yards area. They also support The Nightlife with Latin dance events. If you want to have some fun, check them out!

  • Hands-down one of the most elegant and tasteful Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. I was truly impressed by everything! This place was pretty busy for a Wednesday night. The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully; I adore the light fixtures and plant accents. The chips and salsa are the best I’ve ever had (I truly could not get enough). Our server was incredibly generous and friendly. I could rave on and on about this place! I was truly blown away. This would be the perfect place to go on a romantic date or out to lunch with friends. I tried the Al Pastor Tostadas and it was all I could do to not lick the plate! Every bite was devoured from every plate at our table. Everyone in my party was extremely happy with their food. This won’t be my last time here, that’s for sure! One of my absolute new favorite restaurants in Spokane. I will add that this restaurant is a tad expensive, but in my honest opinion - IT IS WELL WORTH IT! Highly, highly recommend!

Food was amazing and tons of delicious options. Huge selection of seafood dishes that was really surprising. Not many waiters working so service was a little slow. But overall really happy with the restaurant and will go again! Bummed I missed out on the tasty beverages that kept walking by!

Wow!!! The food and drinks at Molé are incredible!!! I have yet to have something that didn’t leave me wanting more. I’m not usually a big mixed drink person because they’re often over sweet and syrupy - not here! They are perfectly flavored with FRESH ingredients and are very refreshing on a hot day! My only complaint is it can get a bit hot and loud inside the restaurant during the height of dinner time, it wouldn’t stop me from coming though!

We enjoyed this restaurant so much! The weather was perfect and we ate outside on the veranda. The ceviche was to die for and the blueberry cilantro margarita was exquisite. The blackberry and jalapeno margaritas were also wonderful!

Went here with a couple friends and each got different tacos so we could all try a different one. My favorite was the prawns with the smokey pepper sauce and pineapple salsa. Absolutely fantastic. The hot sauce that came with them was a good compliment and almost too hot for me, 😂 and it was so good, I just kept eating it . The flavor combinations covered a wide spectrum. I really enjoyed them. It's a must try.
